surrounded by antiques
You know what would fit perfectly here? A screenshot of my step count over four days in Rome. But instead, let’s just go with a number — 100,000.
A hundred thousand steps, hundreds of glances skyward, dozens of espressos, and countless “wow” moments around every corner.
Rome had always been on my must-visit list,
and now — checked.
I spent a few days alone with a city I only knew from textbooks and art history lectures. Back then, it was all abstract images — now, it’s real scenes, the smell of fresh pastries in the morning, the sound of fountains, and the taste of the creamiest pasta.
If I had to describe Rome in one sentence — it’s perfect in its imperfection. Small in size, grand in feeling.
Layered. Real.
And yes, I’ll be back.
